Basics of Yoga Flow
This class is all about building from the ground up. A class that breaks down the basics of a yoga flow class.
This five week series offers all aspects of a vinyasa based yoga class including foundation poses, foundational philosophy & mindfulness. Each class builds on the previous, working through new poses & concepts and creating a balanced, mellow flow.
The full series can be booked to get the most out of the journey or individual class can be attended. Either option will allow beginners & new comers to learn about a yoga flow class, safely and steadily. The Basics of Yoga Flow series is also suitable for those with more experience wishing to slow it down and get back to where it all began. A great class for nurturing the body and creating strength & stability.
What Does Vinyasa Mean? Vinyasa is a type of yoga that links movement and breath helping to find balance in the mind and body. From the Sanskrit “to place in a special way,” a vinyasa class includes a sequence of poses aligned to the breath to achieve a continuous flow. The class also incorporates more static poses, stretches, balance & breath work.
